Success rate. The birth control pill has a success rate of 90% which is up their with condoms and are high quality birth control. Preventing unwanted pregnancy is one of the biggest issues a society faces and since the pill being put on the market this issue has improved immensely.

Menstrual cramps. All types of hormonal birth control work better to reduce menstrual cramps than over the counter pain killers. One of the effects of these types of birth control is making the lining of the uterus thinner so when that time comes there is less tissue to shed which makes the menstruation lighter.

Regular dosage. The pill must be taken everyday at the same time in order to work effectively. It is not good at all if you miss a dose and sometimes this can be very irritating to worry about.
