Smell. The smell of tobacco and smoke is offensive and when you smoke it gets into your breath, skin and clothes.

Expensive. Governments of the world are putting more and more taxes onto cigarettes as a health initiative to get people to smoke less. If they are expensive now the prices are only going to rise higher.

Weight loss. Nicotine is a stimulant which increases your heart rate and supresses your appetite. These both aid immensely in the process of weight loss.

Extremely unhealthy. Smoking is probably the worst thing you can do for your health. It has been proven to destroy your lungs, brains and circulatory system. Pretty much your entire body.

Alleviates boredom. You receive a little dopamine fix every time you light one up, this is entertaining when you have nothing else you can do. Soldiers in war time a hundred years ago smoked heavily during their non-combat duties.
