State sanctioned abortion is safer and more viable. Criminalizing abortion procedures will not prevent people seeking the practice. All that will result will be people performing unregulated illegal backyard procedures causing more societal and health issues than before.

Life begins when the fetus is viable. The main argument against abortion is that life begins at conception and thus abortion is murder. If this was the case the cluster of cells just after conception would be valuable life while the clusters of cells that break away from scratching your head would not be. This is illogical, life begins when the fetus is able to live after birth.

Abortion is murder. Life begins at conception. Pro choice groups have tried to dehumanise foetus by saying it isn’t a person until it is viable. This is akin to genocidal groups claiming their victims are not humans leading to the greatest massacres in history. The murder of unborn children is just another of those massacres except we as a society are giving it a pass.

Abortion is a fundamental woman’s right. The prohibition of safe family planning options for women infringes on their basic rights. Most often these laws are implemented by men in power who have no subjective viewpoint on the matter. This means women have rules and regulations places on their bodies by men whom the same laws don’t apply to

Fetus suffer during the procedure. It is not a painless and quick procedure and there is plenty of scientific evidence to show the distress the unborn go through, don’t let them fool you.

Forbidden by the Hippocratic oath. The doctor’s oath says they’re priority is the preservation of life against all else. To prevent life through abortion, even if it may seem justified, goes against this oath leading to the mistrust of doctors.

It promotes a culture where human life is disposable. To ‘abort’ someone pre or post birth is an abhorrent act which has a slippery slope breeding a culture where life is not sacred. Setting this precedent may lead to euthanizing adults with ‘defects’ and children deemed not to have a future

Abortion due to defects is discriminatory. Discrimination is frowned upon, and often illegal, in most societies on the planet. You cannot infringe on someone’s rights due to any alternative genetics let alone murder them. Why is it okay to do it to someone before they are born?
